For starters you have a tantalizing choice between pan seared wild Atlantic scallops & king prawns, duck parfait & croquette duo or a vegan roasted shallot & armagnac tarte tatin. Then comes the first decadent Miller & Carter touch, a champagne sorbet to cleanse the palate before the main event!
For your main it’d be rude not to go with Miller & Carter’s signature ‘steak experience’, giving you a choice between an 8oz or 12oz 30 day aged prime steak with all the trimmings! Pair that with your choice of steak sauce and wedge dressing then you’re good to go.
If steak isn’t your thing there’s always the classic hand-carved turkey breast. Served up with lemon & thyme stuffing wrapped in bacon, Cumberland pigs in blankets and smoked beef dripping roast potatoes, who could resist this beaut of a plate!
For all of our vegan chums out there, there’s a tasty filled mediterranean-style vegetable risotto topped with onion loaf crumb, root vegetable crisps and sage for you to get your teeth into.
It’s finally dessert time and boy has Miller & Carter got some treats in store for you! We’ve picked a couple of our favourites out of the five strong menu. Kicking things off we’ve got some festive loaded potato skins topped with candied bacon & brie cheese sauce – also available without the bacon veggie chums! If you’re looking for something completely different why not try some halloumi fries or a cajun prawn salad.
Main course time and The Palm really have gone all out on variety! Of course there’s the classic roast turkey dinner, roast beef or homemade nut roast… but that’s not what you’re here for. Did somebody say Christmas carvery? Sign us up! Oak Tree Farm are opening their doors for a four course carvery delight on Christmas Day, all for £52.99 pp! Meat lovers and veggies rejoice, this menu is packed with something for everyone on the big day.
We’re hitting the ground running with five delicious looking starters to choose from! Our highlights have to be the smoked salmon and prawns and the veggie friendly stilton & peppercorn mushrooms.
The mains are really where Oak Tree Farm comes into its own! They serve up lush carveries all year round, but for Christmas day they’ve really taken their mouthwatering dishes to the next level.
The showcase carvery consists of a selection of succulent 14-hour slow-roasted meats, two pigs-in-blankets, two traditional Yorkshire puddings and all the festive trimmings you can fit on your plate!
Veggie pals you’ve got a scrumptious beetroot, butternut squash & cranberry wellington heading your way! You can even go ‘ultimate’ for an extra £2, upgrading to large plates with 3 Yorkshires and 3 pigs-in-blankets! Woo-hoo!
