Knives and forks at the ready! The summer rays are shining bright and our beautiful city is awakening to the sound of the Eat Out To Help Out scheme.
Foodies from across the city are being invited to tuck into half-price meals in cafes, restaurants and pubs across the city.
The scheme is simple; enjoy a 50% discount when dining with any participating Wearside restaurant. No voucher is needed and there’s also no limit to how many times you can dine out during the month of August. The discount only applies to food and non-alcoholic drinks that reach a maximum of £10 discount per diner.
Sounds good, right? Well to celebrate this month of food, glorious food, we’ve put together a list of participating restaurants across the city, making it easy for you to spot your favourite foodie spot and get booked in.
Each week, we’ll be posting a rundown of our much-loved eateries taking part in the scheme. From al fresco dining and coastal cuisines, to city centre chow-downs and pub food classics, keep your eyes peeled on our social channels as we guide you through a summer of food.
