Free School Meals in Sunderland.

Marcus Rashford has kicked the nation into action with his heart-warming campaign to make sure children who normally receive free school meals don’t go hungry during half term.

It’s by no means a comprehensive list, but we’ve put together a guide on several Sunderland businesses participating in the movement and who are giving away free school meals in Sunderland. 

 

 

SUNDERLAND CITY COUNCIL & RYAN RILEY

We’re delighted to learn that our chums at Sunderland City Council are supporting North East native Ryan Riley’s work in ending child food poverty.

Ryan is opening the Life Kitchen cookery school in Mowbray Park provide 150 packed lunches for kids each day plus extra bake at home meals (Mac & cheese etc).

This local tea room announces on their Facebook page that they would be offering free meals for children this half term to help families this half term.

They’re offering sausage and chips with a cup drink on the side.

This Houghton deli announced on their Facebook page that they would be providing free children’s meals to families who need a helping hand.
