In celebration of International Women’s Day, we caught up with Sunderland-born blogger, Sarah Jayne, to discuss her greatest achievements, the women she looks up to and more…
Tell us a little bit about who you are…
I’m a pint-sized northerner, who has more make-up and skincare products than she’d like to admit and is recovering from a serious Nutella addiction. But you can call me Sarah Jayne!
What do you do for a living?
I’m a social media executive and blogger.
What’s your greatest achievement?
For me, it’s all about the smaller things. Those ‘pinch me’ moments, such as when global brands like Radley, NARS, Pronovias have recognised me and said they’d love to work with me.
Who is one woman you’re inspired by?
This is such a hard question as a lot of women inspire me! At the the moment, I’d say Sarah, who runs a really successful YouTube channel called Sarah’s Day. She’s Australian and full of positive energy. Her content is really uplifting and inspiring.
If you could give your younger self one piece of advice, what would it be?
Just go for it! Stop worrying about what others think of you and do what feels right for you.
