A new Mexican restaurant has opened its doors in Sunderland’s newly redeveloped Music, Arts and Culture (MAC) Quarter.

Mexico 70, which is just off High Street West, opened its doors for the first time during the bank holiday weekend (25th May), serving a wide range of Mexican cocktails and beers.

The venue will now launch its full menu during its official launch party on Saturday 2nd June, which will be hosted by local DJ duo Deja Brew.

The menu includes a range of traditional Mexican dishes including burritos, tacos, nachos and will also feature a dedicated range for vegans as well as a guacamole bar.
