What is it?

Sunderland Restaurant Week is one of the city’s best-loved events, providing food-lovers with a chance to nab tasty deals at some of Sunderland’s most popular restaurants. Organised by Sunderland BID, it’s a chance to explore the local foodie scene and try something new.

What happened last year?

Last year, the people of Sunderland had the pleasure of dining out in Sunderland’s vibrant foodie scene for as little as £5, while others served up two tasty plates per person for just £10. Previous venues included the likes of The Looking Glass, 808 Bar & Kitchen, Thai Bay, Arabesque and many more.

When is Sunderland restaurant week in 2020?

Diaries at the ready – Sunderland Restaurant Week returns this March! Whether you’re in the mood for comforting pub grub, Asian tapas or a fine-dining feast, this year, there’s more variety than ever. Exact dates to be revealed soon!

Who is taking part?

The Forge

This vibrant fine-dining restaurant in Washington is renowned for locally sourced and seasonal British food. Throughout Restaurant Week, diners can treat themselves to three delicious courses for £15 between 6-9pm, Wednesday – Saturday.

The Ivy House

If you’re craving a traditional Sunday roast, then The Ivy House is the place to go! Choose from roast beef, hand-pulled pork or roasted chicken breast, all which are served with fluffy homemade Yorkshire puddings, creamy mashed potato, stuffing and seasonable vegetables.

Crumb on In

Fancy a light bite? Then stop by Crumb on In! Taking advantage of their Restaurant Week means you’ll nab a toastie or panini, along with a hot drink, for just £5!
