The festive season is here and this year more and more of you are wanting to get creative! Fortunately, there are plenty of cool, Christmas-inspired workshops and events happening in and around the city, giving arty types the chance to make all kinds of festive creations. Here are our top three to check out…
Heart-shaped mini wreath making workshops
Whether you’re a wreath-making master or a total beginner, this heartfelt class has you covered. Head along and make your own heart-shaped creation – the perfect gift for someone special in your life, or a fabulous centrepiece for your Christmas table. Sessions are being held up until December 10, as part of the city-wide Festival of Light celebrations, brought to you by Sunderland City Council’s events team.
Festive yoga and mindful journaling workshop
Wellness Space is offering the people of Sunderland a chance to unwind this festive season with a relaxing writing and yoga workshop. The event promises an hour of slow flow yoga, moving to classical festive music, followed by an extended Savasana, which will prepare you for a mindful journaling session. During this, you’ll think about your hopes and goals for 2020 and, hopefully, leave with a clear, positive mind!
